WE’VE BEEN AROUND AWHILE
Dave "Augie" Augusiewicz, a long-time local, has lived in the Vail Valley since 1978. He's been in the landscaping business since 2000 and is a member of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado. Before landscaping, Augie worked full-time for Vail Resorts for 22 years as a Project Manager for summer trail construction in the summer, and Vail Ski Patrol (where he is still a manager) in the winter.

The debate of incandescent vs LED lights is long over—LED’s win in every category but initial price. Because LED’s last so long, though, the difference is inconsequential over the lifetime of the lights. LED’s use approximately 10% of the electricity of incandescent lights, which is another plus for LED’s.
